Hegel Tientcheu

Vision Bearer

Leading with Faith and Experience

This initiative was founded by Hegel Tientcheu, a Cameroonian originally from Buea. When the crisis escalated in 2017, it disrupted daily life across the North West and South West regions, forcing schools to close and leaving many young people uncertain about their future.

Like many students at the time, Hegel lost an academic year, and the violence of that period also led to the tragic loss of one of his closest friends. Those experiences left a lasting mark and strengthened his commitment to supporting families who continue to live with the consequences of the conflict, including those who have relocated to Francophone zones for safety.

Today, Hegel lives in Germany, where he pursues his studies in International Information Systems Management. In 2025, he was selected as Mister Cameroon Germany, a platform he uses to raise awareness about the humanitarian challenges affecting communities back home. He is supported by a dedicated team in Germany that assists with project mobilization, strategy, and donor relations.

As a Christian, his faith motivates his commitment to service. Through this initiative, Hegel and his team work together with trusted local partners who are directly connected to the affected families.

Volunteer Partner

The project is supported by Jesus United Family Church in Cameroon, led by Pastor N.A Victor, who has been a trusted friend of the vision bearer for about 10 years. This partnership provides a dedicated volunteer network for outreach and support.

Church members and volunteers assist in the census phase to identify needs within the North West and relocated zones. They ensure that help reaches displaced families through a structure built on long-term community trust.
